Co-milled, sometimes called co-crushed, olive oils are made by milling fresh olives together with another fresh ingredient, such as citrus, herbs, vegetables, or spices. These require the same expertise, talent, and dedication to quality from grove to mill as extra virgin olive oils.
Because extra virgin olive oil is made with just olives, co-milled oils containing another ingredient cannot be labeled extra virgin olive oil. They inspire cooking and creativity in the kitchen and are a flavorful shortcut for the pantry.
